Snatched is an editorial magazine focused on creative storytelling across art, culture, & fashion. We believe in the right to create. Sometimes that means creating your own opportunities to do so.
With bases in Oregon, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and New York City, the Snatched community has allowed us to expand & unite diverse creatives all over the US.
We don’t want to stop at just a magazine, however.
Ultimately, we see something much bigger for Snatched: a bustling collective of creatives from all over the globe, connecting over one simple thing: the love for creating.
Regardless of professional background or preferred aesthetic, we want to give you a space to create.
Our Story
Before Snatched was a magazine, it was just an idea tucked inside the little vintage store named ‘The Racks’ in Eugene, Oregon.
We started as a small catalog/zine inspired by flipping through Y2K Delia's catalogs and teen magazines: the kind you'd cut up for mood boards and keep long after the trends passed.
Seasons changed & trends continued to pass. what began as a passion project quickly grew into an editorial magazine.
Our first issue was only 16 pages, made by a team of fewer than 30 people with a lot of late nights and even bigger ideas. Two years later, that little zine has grown into an 80+ page editorial magazine powered by a community of more than 150 creatives.
A lot has changed since those first pages, but our purpose hasn't.
Snatched has always been about creating space for creatives, amplifying underrepresented voices, and building the kind of community we always wished existed.
