Hi, I’m Malina, the blog lead for Snatched Magazine! Born and raised in Portland, OR, I’m currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in public relations at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, where Snatched Magazine was born.
I naturally fell in love with writing at a young age through my first love, music. From writing ballads of love at twelve years old to performing on stage as the lead singer of a rock band, it always came back to writing.
As a self-proclaimed “thought daughter,” I’ve always thought of the ways writing brings people together. Even if it’s a simple love note or a twelve-page essay, writing creates community to connect with like-minded individuals.
