Snatched Blog is an independent, POC, queer, first-gen student-owned publication that uplifts and supports our communities by giving voice to people and writers who wouldn’t otherwise be able to showcase their art!
An extension of Snatched Magazine, we focus on lifestyle, fashion, and culture, creating a safe space for all in a corner of the internet.
What started as an idea in our vintage and consignment clothing store, The Racks, Snatched Magazine allowed students and young creatives to find community in Eugene, Oregon, the home of the University of Oregon.
A small catalog and zine that showcased Y2K styles modeled by Eugene creatives grew into an editorial magazine celebrating fashion, art, culture, and self-expression.
What started as a 16-page issue grew to 80+ pages powered by more than 150 creatives. Two years later, we knew Snatched created a space for creatives to explore themselves, their art, and celebrate the hard work they’ve done.
From issues released in our first brick-and-mortar to collaborating with University of Oregon clubs, Snatched grew in Eugene, and we grew too.
Now serving creatives all over the country, Snatched creatives are all over the U.S., from New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco to cities in Oregon.
Snatched Blog is our digital space to fuel creative work that is passion-driven, inspiring, and shines a light on creatives where they shine best. From highlighting the latest Y2K fashion trends to commenting on self-expression and identity, this blog is for you.
